Elliott Morgan is from the great state of Florida, home of Disney World and the grossest/weirdest news stories ever. Elliott studied acting in high school, and he put his extensive training in method acting to use by playing Goofy, Captain Hook, and Tigger across various Disney theme parks. Yes, it was hot.
Because Elliott is a glutton for punishment, he decided to pursue zoology in college. At the University of Florida, Elliott studied the morphological differences between two species of crocodiles, and he even learned how to wrestle alligators. Yes, it was dangerous. Yes, it was scary. Was it as scary as organic chemistry? Of course not.
After college, Elliott moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in show business. He believed the vapid nature of Hollywood would align well with his own dark soul, and he nailed it. He wound up on YouTube, where he helped launch SourceFed, a comedy news channel. Producing several videos a day about current events, Elliott eventually branched into celebrity interviews, his own YouTube channel, and was brought on by Google to help cover the Republican and Democratic conventions. He later interviewed Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson, which is probably why Johnson totes lost.
Elliott began performing stand-up comedy about three years ago, all the while continuing to host for various outlets across the Internet. He helped re-launch Mashable’s YouTube channel, and he hosts a successful series on Mental_Floss. He's hosted game shows, live events, and panel shows. He's worked with E! Entertainment and Nickelodeon. He’s one of the online hosts for Spike’s Lip Sync Battle, produced by Jimmy Fallon. He’s even worked with the Muppets multiple times. Yes, he and Miss Piggy have chemistry. No, they haven't told Kermit.
In late 2015, Elliott filmed his first comedy special, “Premature,” from Supergravity Pictures. Elliott is currently touring, as well as working on more creative Internet projects. Does he miss wrestling crocodiles and baking in the hot, humid Disney air? Nah. Not at all. Not even a little bit. This is better. Oh my god, can you imagine? I mean… people still live in Florida.
